“I already had my exercise habits in place when I saw the LEAN Program was starting a new session, so I joined in,” said LEAN Program participant Kathy D. “It was perfect timing. The LEAN Program is about food! I love food! The LEAN Program gave me tools to set attainable goals, take inventory of my kitchen tools and pantry/fridge stock, create a weekly meal plan, make a shopping list which contained new food choices and pairing suggestions to create the perfect meal. We were given techniques to encourage mindful eating, listen to our body signals and recognize how your body reacts to the food you eat. Being prepared is the key for me! Having healthy choices at home ready to eat after my workouts as well as having our meals planned and prepped for the week allowed me to obtain a lot of my goals.”
