Where do I check in for my massage?

You will check in and pre-pay for your massage at the Service Desk. You will be given a receipt to give to your therapist. If you are a first-time client, please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to check in and complete the necessary paperwork.

Where will I go for my massage?

The massage department is located on the lower level, down the main stairway, and down the long hallway in front of you. There is a sign on the door at the end of the hall. Your therapist will greet you for your massage in the designated waiting area.

Where will I change for my massage?

You will have full privacy to undress to your comfort level in the massage room. You can then lie covered on the table. Robes are provided for your convenience and are located in the waiting room.

Should I shower before my massage?

As a courtesy to your therapist, if you have been exercising beforehand, please shower before your massage.

Which part of my body will be worked on?

During a 30-minute massage, the therapist will target specific parts of your body that you indicate need attention. During a one-hour massage, the therapist will usually perform a full body massage including the neck, back, hips, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, hands, face and head. Please let your therapist know if there are any parts of your body you are not comfortable having massaged.

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. The full fee will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Should I tip my therapist?

Tips are at the discretion of the client.

Are Delnor Health & Fitness Center Massage Therapists certified?

Yes! All our therapists are state-licensed and nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Our therapists have experience in many different areas.

When should I not have a massage?

If you have a fever, cold, flu or contagious illness or disease or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please do not book a massage.
